Board Game collection sold to secret government agency

I’ve long suspected that Troll and Toad was a government agency sucking up all the games in the country before the crackdown, but now I think I’ve confirmed it. They’ve just purchased what has to be one of the largest game collections in the country. Now, I used to think that Marcus King was a special agent, but then he surreptitiously started Three Free Games in an effort to redistribute games that would have otherwise gone into a warehouse behind the Ark of the Covenant.

My favorite quote in the article was:

Fonarow figures the collection will fit into one large semitrailer — if it is packed right.

Edit: Thanks to Thavok for pointing out this video of the game collection and its former owner!

It seems that with the KY and Oregon Primaries coming up and Troll and Toad going from KY to Oregon on the same date there may be something huge amist here…

Troll and Toad denies any knowledge against government conspiracy.

    Typical denial

I’ve suspected this for some time, I checked on their physical address and with the help of Virtual Earth I was able to locate their facility. 710 Pitzer St., Barbourville, KY 40906. I mean it’s not at all what I expected on closer inspection it looks a good deal like a typical “government complex” nestled in the foot hills of a mostly rural community the building is clearly out of the norm. I live in near by London Kentucky about 70 miles away and I do want to confirm or disprove the use of dogs and armed guards inside the barb-wired fence lined by video cameras. I mean from what I’m told they don’t even have any logo at all with large trucks coming and going day and night on both ends of their building. I mean it seems sorta odd for a simple on-line retailer to need so much protection in this small area.

Troll and Toad are departing all their games to Cuba for a secret Space Launch scheduled to land all their inventory on the moon. I have undeniable proof that Troll and Toad actually employ Trolls and Toads at one of their dozens of Warehouses.

@ Brandon: If we posit the involvement of Fantasy Flight Games, who mysteriously acquired the rights to Talisman recently, then we can conclude that the Toads were once Trolls who ran into one too many Random spells.

@Thavok: It’s not impossible that those game boxes contained not playing cards, but ballots!

Booth placement puts Troll and Toad right next to Rio Grand at this years Origins… I think I’m starting to connect the dots, perhaps the top dogs of these companies are plotting to fire off ALL the boardgames to the moon and then, when they become super rare they bring them back! Making Millions! Clever, clever devils… Perhaps the connection between the primaries and these board game tycoons is that the new president will keep their secrets safe!

Actually, on a serious note, Troll and Toad would probably welcome you inside their facility. They are located in Barbourville, where they share a building with another company, and they have a retail store on the side of the building open to the public. There are no dogs, no gaurds. Cameras are standard issue for any business these days, and the fence helps protect against potential theft. The majority of their employees are young men and women who are also part time gamers much like yourself, and the owner is a gamer turned entreprenuer. You guys are silly and paranoid. Try ordering any product from their site and see if you don’t get a fair deal.

LOL Good god I hope you all are being serious. This shit is just too good. We are indeed behind a barbed wire fence, but it was here long before we moved here. We’re only in this bland building because the last place we were at just simply lacked in the ammount of space we needed. We have plans of improving the look. This place used to just be a sewing factory, so that’s the reason for the ugly/plain building. But yeah, I’m sorry to say that we’re just a normal company.

Oh and by the way, the Fonarow collection took two trucks instead of one hehe. We’ve already started putting the games into our website, come check it out:)

Are you really trying to convince us that you just happened upon a blank building with no notable features, and those vans…I’m not buying it.

You say it was an old sewing factory? Well, what was underneath that sewing factory? I doubt you’re going to tell us.

lol What vans? There’s a few people that work here that drive minivans. And we have a giant banner outside with our logo on it. Not to mention all the signs telling where our doors are for customers and such. And as far as what’s underneath the building…I’m guess like dirt…and rocks and worms and stuff. I saw a lizard outside the other day on a smoke break, maybe he’s chillin’ down there too.

It’s hard to say if this person who claims to work at Troll and Toad really does or if it’s just not someone trying to cover it up! A company that off beaten path just sudden starts spending huge amounts of money to buy up massive collections is a bit odd… I smell something going on with this scheme but its just like the government to keep weird secrets in the most unlikely places.
