Thanks for that, the wire trees are something I've seen in books, but that tutorial makes them seem much more doable. Being new to terrain building, I'm interested in trying as many different techniques as I can. I could tell that the weeds were very fragile, and right now truthfully I'm just hoping they stand up straight until I need to use them in the game. :)

Huzzah, it's been fun to read this. I'm tempted to have a go at it myself since I'm running this module in 3 weeks.

One note on the weed trees - they are very fragile. I recommend them for dioramas, but never for a gaming board. I recommend making your own wire armatures. Many resources can be found online, a good one is: http://token3rail.blogspot.com/2008/05/april-token-build-wire-trees.html

If you have a clamp and a drill or dremel, I highly recommend you use them to twist the wire. Doing it by hand is a bit tedious, though it's easy enough to do while watching TV.
