Power Cards, character sheet, etc. for 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons

If you’re enjoying these power cards and other 4e accessories, please consider leaving a Paypal donation using the button at the right. Also, subscribing to the feed will let you know when there are updates to this and the many other resources at this site. Your support is much appreciated!

UPDATE (02/11/09): The Universal Power Card Set is an impressive project that supersedes the power cards in this post and the related one.

I’ve run across some really great accessories and play aids for during my internet journeys and I figured, “I’ve got a blog, why not share them with my readers?” Revolutionary thinking, I know. I’ve already used some of these in games, and I especially enjoyed the crib sheet, which really helps new players (all of us!) figure out what they can do on their turn.

Sample power cardPower Cards - Complete Set: These things are swwww-eet. They’re pretty, and functional, and cover every PC power in the 4e PHB! Megaprops to Ander00 over at EN World for these. EN World post | PDF version

Kiznit’s 4e Character Sheet: It’s pretty good now, but I’d keep checking back as he’s going to add a third page with blank power cards. Of course, you won’t need those if you keep reading. Direct Link (several pdf version links in the post)

Kiznit’s 4e Combat Crib Sheet: This sheet breaks down the most common Standard, Move, and Minor actions, and tells you which ones you can use each turn in Chinese menu format. It also covers general modifiers, action points, some conditions, critical hits, and special actions. This is a must-use sheet for any beginning 4e game. Direct Link (PDF) | EN World thread

Shado’s 4e Character Sheet: This sheet is color and, better yet, landscape. EN World post with link to zip

Initiative and Effects Tracker: This sheet lets you track initiative and ongoing effects on PCs, it’s pretty nifty! The original link is broken, so I put it up at The Gamer Dome wiki! Direct Link

Even more fan-created power cards: Here’s a site that has several different designs, and power cards broken down by class. Direct Link | EN World thread | Technical info thread

D&D 4E Power Cards … these are something I’d look forward to buying two copies of pre-printed and laminated, rather than downloading and wasting printer ink on …

Ok, cool. Maybe Wikidot was down, it tends to go down several times a day, which is one reason I switched over to Wetpaint.

Thanks for putting all this in one spot. The new SRD is a bit more complex than the D20 stuff they had for 3.5. I hope they start releasing things to the monster and things in RTF like they had before. Using those to create resources for our games was great.

No problem, Toe Tyrant! Having just run my first 4e game, I can say without a doubt that the power cards are simply amazing and let all the new players learn their characters much more quickly than they would have!

Am i the only one who’s disappointed that there are tons of missing parts to the power card set? The ones they have are totally rad, don’t get me wrong — but there are hardly any feats, and things are missing, including Dark One’s Blessing, Shadow Walk, Warlock’s Curse, Bloodhunt, etc.

Anyone know of someone who has filled in these holes?

“…there are tons of missing parts to the power card set…there are hardly any feats…including Dark One’s Belssing, Shadow Walk, Warlock’s Curse, Bloodhunt, etc.”

Those aren’t missing, they shouldn’t be there. This is the POWER card set. Those things you mentioned as missing are actually feats, class features, or racial traits.

Is there any chance I could get you to redo the document so that each card is its own page? That way, I can set my printer to print n per page and print only the cards I want when I want them.

That and having them in some kind of indexed order would be faboo.

These are by far the best power cards out there
but upon printing and using i noticed that you were missing 3 or 4 cards

    rogue:
    piercing strike
    torturous strike
another at will i dont remember

Warlock is missing one of the at-wills as well

other than that this set is phenomenal
even includes some of the feats and monster powers!
